Project Description

MacKay was awarded the TCH Hwy. #1 Donald to Forde Station Road project in December 2017. The project involves grading, drainage, paving, mechanically stabilized retaining walls, cast-in-place concrete Weigh In Motion pad and extensive electrical works.
This project will improve traffic safety and the flow of vehicles travelling Eastbound and West-bound of the Golden Inspection Station. Commercial vehicles enrolled in the Weigh2GoBC program have the ability to bypass the Golden Weigh-In-Motion equipped station.
