MacKay Quality Control Manager Gets Recognition
Trent Schibli, AScT, is a Quality Control Manager with MacKay Contracting. Trent was just named as ASTTBC TechPRO for the July/August 2018.
Trent came on board with MacKay after working with us in materials testing. His QC Manager title was made official in January of 2018, and finding himself supervising other quality control personnel, Trent decided to pursue the upgrade of his accreditation. He went from GradTech to AScT in June of 2018.rent was inspired to follow a career in construction and technology by his family roots in both industries. His father was in construction hi entire career and his uncle worked as a technologist.
Trent is a graduate of the Civil Engineering Program at Okanagan College.
Trent advises any young person interested in pursuing a career as a technology professional to explore the technical diploma programs at post-secondary institutions such as Okanagan College and BCIT.
MacKay Contracting was also recognized as the ASTTBC TechEMPLOYER for July/August 2018.
