Idlewild Dam Project Wins Excellence Award
In September 2017, our own Rob MacKay was proud to receive recognition for the project to rebuild this key civil structure. Along with Subcontractor New Dawn Developments, MacKay Contracting successfully completed the local Idlewild Dam to replace the decommissioned one.
Judges for the Thompson Okanagan Kootenay Commercial Building Awards considered criteria such as design, environmental friendliness, and how the projects fit their surroundings.Meanwhile, City of Cranbrook project manager Mike Matejka had high praise for MacKay's perseverance through some exceptionally harsh winter weather.
